If you have never lived in LA before, what are you most excited about?

I’m excited for the weather – so much sunshine! I’ll have no excuse not to check out nearby climbing, surf spots, or biking trails. I also heard the food down here is amazing.

What are your areas of interest within EM or future career plans?

I am interested in EMS, disaster medicine, and critical care.

Why did you choose UCLA-Olive View for residency?

I wanted a mix of clinical sites to treat a diverse group of patients. It was also important for me to work with a supportive and energetic group of faculty and residents.

What else do you do in your free time? What hobbies do you have?

I stay active by running, climbing, mountain biking, and hiking. I’m also a fan of exploring new restaurants with friends and the occasional Netflix binge.
