Why did you choose UCLA for residency?

I remember at the start of 4th year someone told me that there would be one program that would "click" for everyone, and for me that was UCLA. I was really struck by how much everyone in the program - residents, faculty, coordinators - really seemed to care about each other's well being. Plus we get the opportunity to learn from the best at three amazingly different sites, and who wouldn't want to live in LA?

What are your areas of interest within EM or future career plans?          

I'm interested in critical care and disaster management/systems design

What is your favorite place to visit/thing(s) to do in/memory from living in LA?

If you have never lived here before, what are you most excited about?    I'm looking forward to exploring the myriad neighborhoods and hiking trails of LA, and going to the ocean whenever possible!
