Why did you choose UCLA for residency? 

I chose UCLA for residency because the program offers world class training with excellent faculty and opportunity to work alongside smart, compassionate, funny co-residents in the great city of Los Angeles.

What else do you do in your free time? What hobbies do you have? 

I love running and hiking with friends. I enjoy yoga, as well (even though I'm a complete work in progress!), cooking, going to concerts. Whenever I have time, I love to travel both around the country and the world.

What are your areas of interest within EM or future career plans? 

I am interested in the role that EM physicians and health care providers can play in public health and preventive care as the emergency department often is the first, and sometimes only, interface individuals have with health care systems.
