Have you ever lived in LA? If not, what are you most excited for?  

I never lived in LA. I am most excited about learning how to swim.

What are your areas of interest within EM or future career plans?

EMS or critical care medicine; I am hoping to do fellowship in one or the other.

Why did you choose UCLA-Olive View for residency?

I chose UCLA-OV because it seemed like it had the holy trinity of great clinical training/diverse site experiences, great reputation, and great location.

What else do you do in your free time? What hobbies do you have?

I like quilting, running/weightlifting, hiking, dog parade float design (it's a thing in New Orleans), annoying my cat with my friendship

Is there any other info you’d like to share with applicants or share on your website profile?

I am a former EMT-B & ER tech. I made the med school plunge thanks to fantastic teaching & support from my EMT instructor, Evert, and all my tech/nurse/PA co-workers at Glenbrook Hospital in IL.
